Greywell Village Hall

The Village Hall was built over a hundred years ago and is one of the most important village amenities, along with the church and the pub. It is run by a management committee who are the Trustees of the hall. Over the years, the hall has been extended and modernised and it now offers an excellent venue for village events and activities.

The hall’s kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, a dishwasher, crockery, cutlery and glasses.

The hall hosts a number of clubs and societies including a monthly film evening showing the latest releases and the Wine Club that holds quarterly meetings and tastings.

The hall committee organises a number of events during the year including a Quiz Night, a Curry evening, a village ‘Safari Supper’, a Christmas drinks party, Plant and Produce Sales, a Bonfire Party and regular Coffee Mornings. All these events raise money for the hall and village projects.

Hiring the Village Hall

The hall can be hired for private functions and activities. Examples are regular Pilates and Yoga classes which are both held weekly. You can find a list of up-coming events held at the hall in Greywell Gazette or check the notice board outside the hall.
